AN ODE TO MY FRIEND..ANU!
We are here together now
But before we knew it 2 years have gone
Our lives appear to be a major stress
Seems like college life has given us a miss
No time to dress
Deck up our tresses
Unlike other youngsters
All we hear is complaints from peers
No clubs, no camps
No outdoor trekking, drop-dead shopping
Or mountaineering or swimming
Or even stupid silly Bollywood movies
We are always on the run and called “ROADIES”
Time just slips away leaving us sleepless, restless
Bullet paced, fast and untraceable are our lives
With “oh no alliance! Mourns and sighs”
There’s something that we want to achieve
Believing earnestly in an unknown dream
Soon we would be enlightened not disheartened
When the sleepless nights would have transformed itself in to a new limitless horizon
Soon we would discover and decipher our true calling
And would be doing what we should be doing
One day we would be glad when we look back
For there would be success patting our backs!
Be it our brunch or lunch
Photo shoots under the arches
Or cheese-cabbage crunch
Be it our not yet materialized plans for pizzas and pastas
These little moments would be etched eternally in my memory
And do I’ve to say to you?
That”man..i’m gonna really miss you!”
